Permaculture Garden

At Five Islands Secondary College, we have a Permaculture Garden — a hands-on space where students can connect with nature, learn sustainable gardening skills, and explore environmental science in a practical way.

Students have the opportunity to spend time in the garden, working alongside our Permaculture Teacher Aaron, who guides and supports them as they plant, nurture, and harvest a variety of fruits, vegetables, and native plants.

The garden is more than just a learning space; it’s a place for creativity, teamwork, and developing a deeper respect for the environment. Whether you’re interested in gardening, sustainability, or simply spending some peaceful time outdoors, the Permaculture Garden is a welcoming spot for all students.
