Wellbeing

At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.

How we support student wellbeing

Supporting each student’s mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing is part of everyday school life.

We do this through:

We encourage students to reach out if needing support or advocacy and to speak to us wherever possible as things pop up, and hopefully before issues become hard to cope with or manage. Students have many advocates and supportive personnel at the College to seek out for assistance: Year Advisers, Deputy Principal, Head Teacher, Student Support Officer (Social Worker), the College Chaplain, any friendly Teacher or Head Teacher - all these are a great starting point to support you in seeing or creating solutions or getting the support you need when things can't be resolved straight away.

The Wellbeing Hub

Our wellbeing hub offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for student check-ins and wellbeing programs, it is designed to ensure students feel seen, supported, and genuinely cared for.

The Hub provides a safe space where students can take time to reset, regulate their emotions, and return to class ready to re-engage with learning.
