Duke of Edinburgh

Exciting news from our Big Picture students! We're thrilled to announce that they, along with Ryan and Kayte, have completed their Qualifying Adventurous Journey for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award this term. Starting early on a Wednesday morning at Murramarang National Park, they tackled the challenging Murramarang South Coast Walk—a rugged trail through rock platforms, secluded beaches, and coastal rainforest, made even more difficult by recent heavy rains. After a challenging 12 kilometers, they reached the picturesque Depot Beach Campground, where they enjoyed a well-deserved dinner and s'mores under the stars amidst native wildlife like wallabies and kangaroos. Congratulations to our adventurous students on this achievement!
