JET
JET (Job Education Transition) is a school funded engagement and post school transition to employment program. Workplace Learning Illawarra is employed one day a week to work with targeted students from Years 10 and 11. Work experience is a major part of this program. The JET program seeks to builds on student interests and capabilities so that they become engaged learners who are also well placed for a career pathway(s). Many of the students who participate in the JET program have found part time employment whilst they are still at school.
