History is the study of people and events in the past. The focus of Year 10 is for students to describe, explain and assess the historical forces that shaped Australia and the modern world. Australia's involvement in both World Wars provides an insight into a vital aspect of our development as a nation and examining Rights and Freedoms allows students to appreciate issues which have a contemporary dimension.
